About Ryan Hassler
Formal training as a statistician with a proven research record in the educational psychology realm of teaching and learning mathematics. Current research involves a National Science Foundation S-STEM grant for increasing recruitment and retention among underrepresented minorities in engineering which seeks to analyze role identity during the transition from high school to higher education. Teaching interests and responsibilities include courses in elementary statistics, biostatistics, experimental design and applied research methods. As a former high school math teacher, a small business owner and the immediate past chair of the board of directors at Helping Harvest Food Bank, I am invested in making Berks County Pennsylvania a better place to learn and live.
