ABOUT RYAN HARVEY

I am a highly motivated and hardworking student. I am enrolled in Denver University\'s 3+2 Dual Degree Program where I am pursuing a Master of Science in Accounting Technology and Analytics. I recently participated in an audit & assurance internship with Deloitte where I was able to hone my analytical skills by auditing client financials, transactions, and internal control processes. I collaborated with team members to apply risk assessment concepts and utilized advanced audit tools and technologies, including AI and data analytics. This experience enhanced my communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities while managing multiple assignments in a dynamic environment. At DU, I worked as a Resident Assistant for two years, where I honed my leadership and communication skills by overseeing a community of over 40 residents each year. I am currently the Vice President of Finance for DU’s professional business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi. I have over 5 years of experience working as a back waiter and waiter at a four-star fine dining restaurant (Geronimo Santa Fe). I learned to efficiently navigate a busy restaurant environment professionally while working effectively with my team to ensure that all diners have a positive experience.
