I joined Geosyntec in 2006 after receiving a bachelor’s degree in Geological Sciences from San Diego State University. Since joining Geosyntec I have gained over 15 years of experience managing a variety of environmental and engineering-related projects. Primary project emphases have been to characterize and remediate soil, groundwater, and soil-vapor impacts; and in the evaluation, permitting, and acquisition of recycled water for large scale construction projects.My work experience also includes management of groundwater monitoring systems for active composting facilities and inactive municipal solid waste landfills, and characterization and clean-closure of municipal burn sites. As well as conducting various characterization and remedial investigations at former aerospace manufacturing and testing, active military, and active defense contractor facilities. In addition to this, I have assisted clients with acquisition of Solid Waste Disposal and Codisposal Site Cleanup Program Grants through CalRecycle and have experience performing water resource availability studies. I have also provided support for the San Diego Geosyntec branch in the design and optimization of portable soil-vapor sampling equipment.
