ABOUT RYAN GILLIS
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, I started my career in the trades as a carpenter before earning a degree in construction management. That foundation led me into construction management roles and eventually into real estate, where working as a broker opened the door to the development side of the industry.I went on to study commercial real estate development at the University of Washington, then launched Gillis Real Estate, working with investors and developers to structure deals and guide projects. As my experience grew, I began running my own development projects, building a deep understanding of feasibility, permitting, construction, and sales.Today, I own and operate Gillis Real Estate and Liberty Investments, where we focus on infill and middle housing development throughout the Puget Sound. Our work centers on sourcing opportunities, working with property owners and investors, and delivering well designed housing that strengthens communities and creates long term value.My path from the trades to brokerage to development gives me a practical, end to end perspective and I continue to build on it with every project.
