Managed team to run the operations of two new square foot sound stages and support spaces located in the historic Spruce Goose building as well as the Former YouTube Space LA consisting of 8 small sound stages (500 to square feet) and a screening room.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Operations management from a studio side - guiding third parties through all aspects of stage usage including legal agreements, COIs, tours/scouts, COVID protocols, FSO approval/safety, FX, Access/parking, policies, permits, loading logistics, inventories, scheduling, restoration and 24-hour production support.• Maintained relationships and led meetings with cross functional partners in Security, Facilities and IT; led initiatives to train and develop six direct reports; interfaced with Production Companies, A-list talent, Producers, Crews, Landlords, Vendors and Network Executives.DYNAMIC OPERATIONAL LEADERSHIP• Identified improvements to problematic processes, created new Creative Campus Guidebook, Incoming Production Timeline, Guidebook at a Glance and additional workflows to help streamline production communications and maintain asset condition.• As the primary communication hub between Productions and Studio Operations, reported issues, concerns, and updates to the larger organization, and created channels to relay critical studio updates to all employees including establishing campus newsletter, website and Lunch and Learn.• Spearheaded sustainability practices for the studio resulting in designation as a EMA Green Seal Gold certification.• Interviewed, hired and trained staff, led workshops for development; acted as HR representative, documenting and working to improve problem employees and leading termination process, ensuring protection of company and best practices throughout.• Consistently led post mortems with teams to identify areas of concern, develop solutions to continually improve our offering and drive change throughout the organization.
