   Collaborate daily with the Manager of Communications to fulfill player and assistant coach media requests• Serve as the lead PR contact for the Special Teams Coordinator, handling all media responsibilities, including formulating talking points, weekly meetings and coordinating press conferences and interviews• Pitch and facilitate interviews to fulfill in-house media and local partnership requirements• Overhauled and revamped all team publications in accordance with an organizational rebrand• Serve as the primary writer and editor for all team publications, including the weekly release, media guide and other prominent materials, while overseeing interns’ release responsibilities• Serve as the Director of Communications for all Lone Star Sports & Entertainment events, including the Texas Bowl, Copa America and many other events• Spearhead the training, mentoring and development of the department’s year-long interns• Responsible for drafting and distributing all press releases for team transactions and football related announcements• Oversee open locker room periods following team practices and games• Provide significant input related to media talking points for players, coaches and key executives• Serve as the on-site liaison for national media visits, including broadcast partners and NFL Films• Assist in conducting weekly production meetings for home and away games• Responsible for maintaining, updating and enhancing the all-inclusive media website platform, NFLOMG, with pertinent information• Lead the planning and logistics of the team’s annual Media Day and rebrand shoots
