Lead a project to identify contingencies and efficiency gains for all metrology tool sets across multiple functions and factories. Responsible for organizing groups consisting of tool owners, process engineers, equipment engineers, industrial engineers, and manufacturing specialists. Leading these groups to identify production and metrology needs for our current fleet of tools, new tools, and implementing time/cost saving measures and optimizing capacity and process flow. Improved magnetic metrology production tools by identifying upgrade opportunities. Implement these improvements by working directly with tool vendors and engineering staff as well as our in-house engineers. These improvements resulted in increased production capabilities and throughput; a cost saving of approximately $300K.Developed training materials and standard operating procedures for each tool that I was responsible for. Trained equipment technicians and manufacturing specialists on how to run and maintain these magnetic metrology tools. Created a lecture series on the fundamentals of magnetism and the importance of magnetic metrology for the read/write head at Seagate. This series was presented to the engineering staff to better educate on the importance of magnetic metrology.
