Ryan Davis, a Deputy Program Manager at HNTB, has over 25 years of global engineering experience and has spent the past eight years as a key manager on a team delivering a multi-billion dollar transit megaproject in Los Angeles. In this role, Ryan manages subcontracts for numerous consultants and technical experts. He assists the Project Director in negotiating the project’s budget with the client, then managing project budget for both WSP and sub staff through change control processes, monthly reporting, and coordination with the client’s project controls staff. Ryan is a team player who seeks additional responsibilities. In addition to his primary role, Ryan also leads design development and engineering services during construction for a new parking structure and two new parking lots while supervising the project’s IT support and document control team. Ryan believes collaborative leadership drives creativity, innovation and mission success in large and complex matrix organizations comprising professionals with diverse perspectives and talents. Ryan’s unique and diverse skillset was forged over a 20-year career in the US Navy Civil Engineer Corps, where he led enlisted Seabee construction personnel and civilian staff in public works departments, managed both design-build and design-bid-build construction contracts, and supported senior military leaders as their staff technical expert for engineering, construction, and contracting matters.
