About Ryan Davis
In 2007, I started a career as an environmental consultant. At first, I worked on air and water permitting. In 2009 I continued my career as an environmental consultant working on high voltage utility infrastructure projects where I currently work. My career as a consultant has allowed me to continue facing challenging projects within complex and rigorous regulatory environments. Permitting projects that I have worked on include National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) permitting, state NEPA equivalents and county conditional use permits to meet zoning and planning regulations.In 2015, I took over the environmental leadership for Electrical Consultants Inc, where I managed both environmental project managers and GIS analysts on environmental and permitting tasks to support our utility and renewable clients. In 2024, I joined Grid United as a Developer where I assisted in development of North Plains Connector and new projects in the west. In 2026, I rejoined ECI as Director of Major Transmission programs where I lead developer and utility programs and assist with strategic business planning. My career has allowed me to use my skills gathered from graduate school to complete complex analyses, use my technical writing abilities and manage projects.
