ABOUT RYAN CHISHOLM
I am course leader and leading the esports provision at Burton and South Derbyshire College, where I am entrusted with the responsibility of spearheading the development of the esports curriculum. It is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of this emerging field, collaborating with colleagues to ensure the success of the esports program at our outstanding institution.Alongside my role in esports, I use my experience in education to work as a standards verifier for Pearson, contributing to the maintenance of high-quality education standards in the field across the UK. Furthermore, undertaking the role of moderator at NCFE for their Business and Enterprise qualification. I also have a strong background as a sport lecturer and course leader, with over eight years of teaching experience in further education. I am passionate about sport and education and serve as the module lead for sport analysis at Burton and South Derbyshire College. This role has allowed me to contribute significantly to the enhancement of our educational offerings in the sports.Moreover, my experience extends to the business sector, where I serve as a lecturer, delivering BTEC level 2 and 3 modules across our business cohorts. This experience enables me to provide a well-rounded and enriching educational experience for our students.
