Gene Therapy Innovation Center (GTIC)- Supporting the design development of the GMP clinical/commercial manufacturing areas at Spark/Roche\'s new, state-of-the-art, AAV manufacturing facility currently under construction in Philadelphia\'s University City neighborhood - Primarily focused on operational aspects (i.e. ballroom-style room design, equipment selection/layout, operational flow, single-use philosophy, operational readiness, viral segregation, automation integration)- Collaborates internally with cross-functional groups (Engineering, Tech Transfer, Development, Automation, Validation, Quality, Procurement, Facilities, Safety) and contracted A/E firm to author/review/approve technical documents (P & ID, PFD, RDS, URS) and evaluate facility fit - Co-lead of risk assessments and evaluations for Viral Segregation and Multi-Product use- Provide feedback to key stakeholders (Steering Committee, Roche counterparts, Spark process/building owners)- Co-led biological waste disposal optimization effort ($1M capital savings)
