ABOUT RYAN BIRCH

I am currently a Content Editor at Auto Express.Before beginning at Auto Express in May, 2023, I was working at a PR and marketing agency, with specific focus of providing the highest quality service for our automotive clients. As an account executive, it was my responsibility to write and produce content which is engaging and informative for the target audiences, as outlined in each brief. This ranged from social media posts, and SEO; to press releases, feature articles or projects - including video and physical media. Additionally, I was responsible for the reporting of key metrics, achieving KPI\'s and providing contact and coverage reports on a bi-weekly/ monthly basis. Previously I was the part of sales planning and internal communications team at PEUGEOT. I have a rich and varied education, with my highest qualification being a Masters in Research (MRes) in Media, Culture and Communications. Here I specialised in qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods research on intersections and representation between mainstream media and subcultures. This gave me an additional skillset, being able to look objectively and at the wider picture within a specific subject area, while understanding the overall granular detail and relationships being presented at any given investigation.I also have a BA in Film and Media Studies and a wide variety of experience organisation form societies, Students Union and conferences.Outside of work i have a keen interest in engineering, motorsports, cars, hiking and traveling.
