With over 25 years of experience in the transportation and municipal engineering industry, form planning through to implementation, Ryan brings a diverse perspective for successful project outcomes. As the Edmonton Engineering Branch Manager for McElhanney, Ryan is responsible for oversight of over 75 staff across six divisions with projects throughout the Capital Region, Northern Alberta and Central Alberta. Recently completed or currently active projects being led by Ryan include- Capital Line South LRT Extension (Owners Engineer Role)- Civil Lead (roads, trails, traffic, survey)- Strathcona County Integrated Transportation Master Plan - Project Manager- Highway 11 Planning Study (Intersections), Red Deer to Eckville - Project Manager- Parkland County Transportation Master Plan - Project ManagerRyan has also been actively involved with the Consulting Engineers of Alberta (CEA) for the past decade, serving on the Board since 2020, and as President for the 20••••23 Term. Ryan currently sits as the an Alberta Representative to the Board of Directors for ACEC (Association of Consulting Engineers of Canada) encompassing a national perspective for the consulting industry. Ryan has also served on the Board of McElhanney Engineering Services Ltd. and is active on the Alberta Roadbuilders and Heavy Construction Association (ARHCA) Board and the Board of the Southeast Edmonton Recreation Association (SEERA) Hockey Association.
