ABOUT RYAN BENTLEY
I am currently working at Clive Owen LLP as an Audit and Accounts Senior. My day-to-day job involves audit and accounts work for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies in various sectors including charity, education, retail, construction, manufacturing, transport, and solicitors. Alongside that, I am training to complete the ICAEW\'s ACA qualification to become a Chartered Accountant. I have currently passed 15 out of the 15 exams. Furthermore, I have recently graduated from York St John University with a First Class Honours degree in Accounting and Finance (BA). This included a successful placement year as an auditor for Audit Partnership Ltd, I recovered worth of profit for large multi-national organisations by utilising internal systems and Excel. A keen eye for detail was essential when analysing and manipulating data to uncover discrepancies in clients’ sales and purchase data to the claims. I have gained other experience as an ICAEW Campus Ambassador, in which I attended a careers event where I marketed the ACA accounting accreditation to potential students. Finally, I have also gained valuable experience in accounting software which includes Sage 50, Quickbooks and Xero after attending training days and completing certifications.
