About Ryan Belz

I am currently working full-time for BlackRock in New York City as a Vice President on the Alternative Investments Fund Controller team, for BlackRock\'s Diversified Infrastructure private equity funds. Previously, I worked for Deloitte in the Toronto office as a Manager in their Audit and Assurance practice, working on insurance and financial institution clients. I began working full-time in January 2017. Previously, I had completed three 4-month co-op terms at Deloitte in their Kitchener, ON office as a Staff Accountant in Assurance and Advisory. During my time, I have been exposed to both Reporting Issuers and Private Corporations, gaining tremendous experience in both. I am a highly motivated and hard working individual. I excel in both working independently and in working in teams. My experiences in competitive sports, including being a varsity athlete with the Wilfrid Laurier University baseball team, have built my teamwork and motivation skills. I obtained my CPA designation in October 2019.
