About Ryan Bellis
Hi! I’m Ryan Bellis, a fourth-year Finance and Risk Management student at the University of Iowa with a strong passion for financial markets, strategic planning, and data-driven reporting. For two summers, I had the opportunity to shadow the Director of Financial Planning at Vertex Planning Partners, where I gained hands-on experience with tax returns, insurance illustrations, and a variety of financial reports. These experiences have deepened my interest in the financial services industry and helped me build a solid foundation in financial analysis and planning. I’ve also taken key steps toward my professional development by passing both the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) and Series 63 exams. Outside of my academics and work-load, I enjoy staying busy by playing basketball and learning new country songs on my guitar. These activities not only instill discipline, but balance my lifestyle. As a continuous learner in the finance world, I aim to continue improving my skills and advancing my career.
