Dual role split between onshore and offshore. The role onshore is to act in support of the Project Managers and Project Engineers in preparation for projects and the reporting and onshore lab testing post project. While offshore, the role entails supervising a shift including Drillers, CPT Operators and Lab Technicians. Responsibilities: • Performance and supervision of description and offshore laboratory testing of soil and rock samples, working to ISO 19901-8, BS5930 and ASTM 2487/8. • Overseeing the execution of technical aspects of the project including the sampling and testing regime. • Quality control and processing of CPT, PS Logging, Seismic CPT and seabed CPT test data. • Production of borehole logs and other data outputs. • Specification of laboratory testing schedules including Classification, Strength, Consolidation, Chemical and Advanced Testing. • Derivation of engineering parameters and generation of design soil profiles.
