Commissioning and start up of the ConocoPhillips Surmont 2 facility. Surmont 2 uses Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD) to recover bitumen from the underground reservoir. At peak, Phase 2 will produce up to barrels per day. Once complete, it will be the largest SAGD production facility built in a single phase.
