As CEO of Keele Students’ Union, I lead a £6.5m turnover charity with a large trading subsidiary and a team of over 40 FTE staff. Since joining, I have co-produced an ambitious long-term strategy in collaboration with Keele University, our student members, staff, and the Board of Trustees. This strategy sets a clear roadmap for transformational change, with the goal of becoming a top 10 Students’ Union by 2028.I am directly accountable for the delivery of this strategy and the organisational transformation required to secure long-term sustainability in a rapidly evolving Higher Education environment. A key part of my role involves mentoring and supporting our elected student Officers and senior managers to build confident, high-performing teams aligned to our vision and values.I work closely with the University’s senior leadership to ensure alignment between the Union’s strategic objectives and the wider needs of the Keele community. I bring significant experience in change management, charity governance, and organisational growth to deliver long-term success for students and stakeholders alike.
