Ryan Axelrod represents the third generation of a prominent force in Westside real estate. Ryan’s grandfather, Randy Forbes Sr. managed the original Jon Douglas brokerage for more than two decades and has been a mainstay in the real estate business for nearly 50 years. It was only natural that years later, Ryan’s uncle, Randy Forbes Jr. and Ryan’s mother, Diane Forbes Halliburton, would also enter the business, joining forces as the Forbes Halliburton team. Now Ryan is carrying on the family tradition of real estate excellence, providing personable client service, market knowledge and superior attention to detail that are hallmarks of the Forbes Halliburton Group.A sixth-generation Angeleno and lifelong Westside resident, Ryan learned the business via “total immersion,” having been coached and mentored by his dedicated, successful grandfather, mother and uncle. He then went on to parlay this knowledge by obtaining a bachelor’s degree in economics from Pepperdine University in Malibu. This gave him solid grounding in the principles of real estate and property development. Ryan’s Westside focus is a great asset to his clients, who benefit from his unique and expansive understanding of the area in which he was born and raised. This includes the pocket communities, neighborhoods, schools and variety of lifestyles the Westside offers.
