About Ryan Arteaga
I am an MEP Electrical Engineer who has passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Electrical and Computer Exam in August 2021. My responsibilities include electrical and fire alarm design (power and lighting plans, panel schedules, riser diagrams, etc.), coordinating work with other trades, review of shop drawings and submittals, and use of COMcheck to ensure proposed lighting design meets energy code compliance.I obtained my M.S.E.E. from Columbia University pursuing my Masters. I have experience in research, where I have used software, such as SPICE, Cadence Virtuoso, and Eagle, to design circuits for an Open-Source Ultrasound Project to successfully obtain data for Ultrasound Imaging. I have also assisted the CUNY Advanced Science Research Center with testing their thin-film transistor prototypes. I served as lab assistant at the Electrical Engineering Teaching Labs of Columbia University, where I provide the teaching assistants and professors with necessary components and equipment to ensure all undergraduate and graduate lab sessions and design projects are carried out efficiently.Overall, I am a person is capable of working in a team environment and willing to learn a new skill each day to grow both professionally and personally.
