Counsel students regarding course selection, scholarship searches and applications, college searches, applications, and decisions. Confer with parents/guardians, teachers, counselors, and administrators to resolve students\' academic and behavioral problems; provide crisis intervention to students as necessary. Counsel students regarding truancy issues, study habits and career planning; help students overcome personal, social, and/or behavioral issues. Provide mental health treatment to students and their families through individual trauma focused therapy, group counseling, and family counseling sessions. Respond to emergency situations and provide crisis intervention as necessary. Conduct assessments, gather, prepare and present data for clinical assessments, design and update treatment plans as necessary.
