I am a certified counsellor trained in basic counselling skills, Couple and Family Therapy, Child and Adolescent counselling skills at Parivarthan Counselling, Training and Research Centre. I am a certified practitioner of Integral Somatic Psychology - a modality for tracking and resolving emotions in the body. I have attended several short term courses conducted by NIMHANS. I worked with the team of counsellors at Parivarthan Counselling Helpline (PCH). I have volunteering experience as a counsellor in Karunashraya (hospice), Jeevodhaya (shelter for destitute women), Hope Foundation (orphanage for boys). I am a counsellor trained at Parivarthan Counselling, Training and Research Centre in basic and specialised counselling courses (Child and Adolescent Counselling, Couple and Family Therapy). I am a certified practitioner of Integral Somatic Psychology - which works with embodied emotions in order to improve behavior and cognition. I have attended several short term courses/workshops conducted by NIMHANS. I have worked as a telecounseller at Parivarthan Counselling Helpline (PCH) for six years. Currently I am engaged in my private practice. I also worked as a volunteer counsellor at Bembala, a centre for women and children survivors of violence.In my counselling practice, I provide a confidential, supportive environment where clients can safely explore issues that are obstructing them from attaining their optimum potential in personal or professional lives.
