About Robert Wijnhoven
Thanks for dropping in! I am the adopted son of Dutch immigrant parents from a tight knit family. I grew up in both the U.S and The Netherlands, where Americans tend to be eternally optimistic and the Dutch are more realistic pessimists. I managed to fuse the best of both cultures to become a realistic optimist. This mindset has helped me guide folks through life’s path in the Financial Services and Health Care industries.You should know that I am driven to help folks live their best possible lives. Whether procuring affordable housing, attaining financial independence or elevating their personal health & wellbeing. Life is not fully realized without a place to call home, the means to support yourself financially and good health.It is therefore unsurprising I love to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and have split my career between Financial Advising and helping folks maximize their healthcare benefits. Even though my yoga poses are moderate at best, I bend over backwards to help the dreams of others come true.When I am not at work or volunteering, I can be found enjoying life with my wife and two girls. We love to explore new areas through travel, and often bike, ski and roughhouse with our two rescued pups. At the end of a long day, we can be found playing Scrabble or sitting by the firepit recounting life stories.My vocational and personal life has been one crazy and rewarding journey. Care to join me?
