It started in the 8th grade. They were renovating my school in Buckley, WA. I was watching the guy drive his backhoe through the football field grading. I had no idea what he was doing, but it was the most powerful machine I\'d seen at that time. The guy looked rugged. Someone, you\'d look up to.All my life, people referred to our machines as \'toys\' or used the \'kid in a sandbox\' analogy. Ironically, I never played with Tonka Toys. But I sure wanted to know everything about them when I grew up. I started as a laborer in 2002, working my way up through the ranks.
