ABOUT RICHARD BELCHER
Richard is an exploration geologist with over 20 years experience across all stages of exploration; from project generation through to resource drilling. Multi-commodity experience with an emphasis on gold and base metals, and extensive experience in remote and demanding terrains. Richard is a chartered (CGeol FGS, EurGeol) geologist with a BSc (Hons) in Exploration Geology, PhD in Geology and a MSc in Finance. His expertise includes- Project Generation: regional reconnaissance, target identification, evaluation & development- Project Management: design, budget and manage, including technical, logistics & administration- Project Evaluation: initial project review through to technical Due Diligence (DD)- Technical Support: input on projects, including training and mentoring of staff; SOPs and QAQC protocols- Mapping: Geological and structural mapping (all scales)- Competent/Qualified Person (CP/QP): technical report writing PERC, JORC, NI 43-101.Richard has worked in Africa, Middle East, Europe and US, including: Africa- Ethiopia (Au, Cu-Zn), Eritrea (Au, Cu-Zn), Egypt (Au), Madagascar (Au, PGE, Ni-Cu), Mali (Au), Morocco (Ag, Cu, Zn), Nigeria (Au), Senegal (Au), South Africa (Au, Coal), Sudan (Cu), Zambia (Cu, Iron Ore) & Zimbabwe (Au, Coal); Middle East- Saudi Arabia (Au, Cu);Europe- Northern Ireland (Au, Cu-Co), Scotland (Au, Pb-Zn); Americas- United States (Co-Cu).Plus desktop reviews of projects in numerous other countries in Europe & Africa.
