About Ricardo Villadiego

After more than a decade in the IT security sector, Ricardo Villadiego decided to take a risk and start a security company of his own. The result is Easy Solutions, a state-of-the-art and creative business that is a reflection of the man who runs it. Ricardo sought to build a company with a highly-motivated group of engineers free to unleash their imaginations and think up fresh and original solutions to confront the constantly evolving threat landscape of the internet. Flexible and agile, the Easy Solutions team can adapt, change course, and most importantly take care of any electronic security problem quickly. This hardworking team, affectionately dubbed the “Easy Solvers”, follow in their leader’s easygoing but results-oriented footsteps, working their tails off but always leaving some time to relax and bust some dance moves or play a quick game of soccer. Ricardo brings over 15 years of experience to the information security business. He has filled every possible role in the industry at one time or another, directing regional offices, selling software, innovating products, and working his way up from his first gig installing and fixing ATM machines. Before creating Easy Solutions, Villadiego worked in high-level positions at IBM, Internet Security Systems, Trend Micro, and Unisys Corporation, winning awards for his high sales figures and superb office management. He has an honors degree in Electronic Engineering from the Universidad Distrital Francisco Jose de Caldas in Bogota, Colombia. Ricardo also likes discussing the philosophical issues relating to the ins and outs of security and privacy matters on the internet, giving interviews to television news outlets and publications from time to time to discuss how to best protect yourself from digital fraudsters and thieves.
