Led design of Results-Based Financing (RBF) mechanisms for Farmer-Led Irrigation Development (FLID) under the operational initiatives in Africa East, including Kenya, Ethiopia, and Zambia to crowd in private capital, de-risk irrigation investments, and expand access for smallholders. Developing co-financing models, performance milestones, and overall RBF delivery structures for FLID based on farmer segmentation, private sector constraints, and cost benchmarks- Built a global cost model for irrigation investment under the World Bank global flagship report on agricultural water management, synthesizing 15+ years of operational data and research to estimate global irrigation financing needs across several scenarios- Co-structured the Global Water Informatics and Data initiative on remote sensing, AI, and geospatial decision tools to inform irrigation planning and water accounting in across Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, and Eastern Europe and Central Asia- Supported operational teams across Africa (Nigeria, Kenya, Zambia) and ECA (Armenia, Georgia, Türkiye) on FLID and irrigation modernization components, including costing, RBF integration, and performance indicators- Drafted key operational documents, grant proposals, and supported strategic partnerships with client governments, IFC, 2030 WRG, Gates Foundation, and agri-tech innovators.
