About Rutuja Gawade
Hi there! I’m Rutuja Gawade, a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, where I proudly achieved a CGPA of 9.49/10. My journey in engineering has been driven by a passion for innovation and a desire to make a positive impact.I am currently working as a Trainee at Sandvik Coromant in the Operations Excellence Department, where my role is to improve efficiency through 5S, Kaizen and Lean practices. My Mission: I aim to leverage my technical expertise and creativity to contribute to sustainable engineering solutions that benefit society. With a solid foundation in programming languages like Python and Matlab, as well as proficiency in tools like SolidWorks and ANSYS, I thrive on tackling complex challenges. My recent experience as a Quality Control Intern at Atlas Copco allowed me to enhance production efficiency by 15% through effective change management and data analysis. I’ve also been actively involved in projects that include analyzing vortex-induced vibrations for energy harvesting and designing a composite propeller blade for a Light Sport Aircraft. I enjoy collaborating with teams and applying my problem-solving skills to drive innovation. Beyond academics, I’m passionate about community engagement. I’ve had the privilege of writing for the National Federation of the Blind, reaching over students through creative workshops. I also organized events at MIT-WPU that engaged thousands of participants. I’m excited to connect with like-minded professionals and explore opportunities where we can collaborate to create impactful engineering solutions. Let’s connect!
