ABOUT RUTU KAPASI

Starting my career in July 2021 as an Intern Doctor at GMERS Medical College, Himmatnagar, I gained hands-on experience in holistic patient care, medical record management, and academic activities. In October 2022, I served as a Medical Officer with the Government of Gujarat, managing preventive and curative healthcare programs, reproductive and child health initiatives, and Non-Communicable Disease management, along with administrative and financial responsibilities at Primary Health Centers.In November 2023, I began transitioning into the Canadian healthcare system by pursuing a Post-Diploma Certificate in Health and Human Services Management at Bow Valley College, enhancing my knowledge of healthcare operations, leadership, and community-based service delivery. Alongside my studies, I worked as an Early Childhood Educator, refining my communication, care, and relationship-building skills with diverse populations.I am proud to share that I have successfully passed the MCCQE Part I, marking a significant step toward returning to clinical practice in Canada. My goal is to integrate my international medical experience, management training, and patient-centered approach to contribute meaningfully to Canadian healthcare, with a focus on quality care, community engagement, and continuous learning.
