About Rutooj Deshpande
A Battery Scientist with over 14 years of experience in battery research and engineering for vehicle electrification and energy storage applications. Have worked with companies such as Ford, GM, Sterling and Wilson Pvt. Ltd, Rivian etc. on several vehicle electrification and energy storage projects. I received my PhD in Chemical and Materials Engineering from the University of Kentucky and performed Post-doctoral research at the prestigious Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL) with lithium ion batteries being the prime area of research. Have authored several journal papers and patents/patent applications/trade secrets in 13 years of battery research.
