ABOUT RUTH MANJARREZ

I am an Industrial Engineer with more than 15 years of experience mainly in Purchasing / Materials, as well as Supply Chain and Logistics. I have worked mainly in the electronic manufacturing for EMS such as Sanmina-SCI, Celestica, and Flextronics. I\'ve also worked in the Automotive Industry for Preh as a Buyer and in the Paper Industry for Cascades as a Production Planner, Shipping/Receiving and Warehousing. Most recently as Commodity Buyer for Safran in the Aerospace Industry.My primary goal is develop professionally and apply my knowledge, abilities and techniques in benefit of a growing organization or company that shares my moral values and cares for our environment.Specialties: Purchasing, Supply Chain, Shipping/Receiving, Warehousing, Logistics.• BS degree in Industrial Engineering.• Over 15 years experience in the Purchasing / Materials Department mostly with Electronic Contract Manufacturers.• Broad knowledge of supply chain, materials, principles and processes for both direct and indirect material.• Excellent vendor management skills.• Strong analytical, technical and negotiating skills.• Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.• Team player, continuous improvement and used to work with low supervision.• Strong in ERP/MRP systems such as CPCS, BPCS, SAP, Baan V.• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point). • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
