About Ruth Exley

Ruth Exley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the owner of Restore Therapy LLC, a mental health clinic serving clients in Portland, OR. Restore aims to extend the highest level of patient-centered mental health care at equal levels to a diverse range of clients including those insured by OHP. Restore provides evidence-based clinical care, collaborative communication with health care partners, and sustainable business practices so clinicians can thrive. Ruth earned her B.A. in Social Work and Spanish from University of Portland and completed her Masters of Science in Social Work in Advanced Clinical Practice with Children and Families from Columbia University. Ruth holds national certification as a TF-CBT therapist and has collaborated in research projects related to training and disseminating TF-CBT.Ruth’s career has focused on providing clinical services to children and families in both inpatient and outpatient settings in children\'s hospitals, medical clinics and child advocacy centers. When she’s not in the office, you can find her hanging out with her family, exploring good restaurants or at a pro soccer match.
