As Vice President - HR Director at McFarland Johnson, a civil engineering firm with 250 employee-owners, I have been leading all aspects of human resources for more than 17 years. My mission is to focus on the \"human\" in human resources, and to create a culture of trust, mutual respect, and collaboration among our diverse and highly talented workforce.I have extensive experience and credentials in employee benefits, HR policies, employee relations, compliance, and staff development. I am a certified SHRM-SCP and DISC Profile Coach, and I use these tools to empower our employees to achieve their personal and professional goals. I also coordinate our strategic recruitment efforts, chair our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Trustees, and facilitate strategic initiatives to attract, develop, and retain the absolute best talent in the A/E/C industry.
