Responsible for delivering the Water Quality Investigations agreed within the WINEP, including the Chemicals Investigation Programme (CIP). Therefore, all outputs of the role are regulartory and have a direct impact on the Company EPA. The core of the role is a cradle to grave set up that is rare in our days, which comprises, not exclusively, agreeing the investigations with the Environment Agency, Natural England and other Water Companies, project design, project delivery, which can include installing new technology, driving the tender processes, organizing sampling and analysis, sample analysis, models development and report writing. As part of the role, I support PhD students and represent SWW in several Strategic and Technical Working Groups mainly linked to emerging contaminants.
