ABOUT RUTH TAYLOR

I’m a CIPD level 7 qualified HR professional, specialising in the development, implementation and adaptation of people policy for organisations that want to do it better. From a background in corporate HR, I have developed a breadth and depth of understanding in translating ideas and values into tangible, workable practices that deliver what they were intended to.Fairness is a core values, and I consider trying to be a good human as fundamental in the workplace as outside it. In my experience that doesn’t mean having to shy away from tough decisions or difficult conversations, but considering the impact (intended and otherwise) upfront, and treating people with respect.I strongly believe in the power of effective two-way communication. I know that the clearest, simplest outputs are often the ones that take the longest to get to, and that early engagement can be of enormous benefit to all parties.The value I bring to any individual, team, or organisation is through being a pragmatic and critical thinker, who can consider the big picture and execute fine details.
