About Ruth Santiago
My career has always centered around understanding people, processes, and how work truly gets done. From managing a university housing community in Ellensburg, to supporting agricultural and production operations up in Wenatchee Heights and Badger Mountain, I’ve learned how systems connect, how teams collaborate, and where technology can make a real difference. In my current role as the IT Business Analyst – Human Capital at Stemilt, I work at the intersection of HR and IT. I partner with our Human Capital team to streamline processes, support system improvements, and help shape technology solutions that make our work more efficient and more human-centered. I enjoy translating needs between technical and non-technical teams, uncovering opportunities for automation, and supporting strategic enhancements across multiple platforms. As my career evolves, I’m intentionally expanding deeper into the technical side of business systems. I’ve completed CompTIA ITF+ and Data+, along with hands-on learning in cloud platforms, SAP Fiori, low‑code tools, and IoT foundations. I’m currently pursuing more advanced certifications—next up: CompTIA DataSys+—to strengthen my capabilities in data structures, database administration, and systems integrations. While Human Resource Management remains the core of my work, I’m increasingly involved in Supply Chain, Warehousing, and Production process analysis. I enjoy contributing to broader, cross-functional technology projects. My bilingual communication skills and analytical mindset help me connect teams, uncover root causes, and drive meaningful, data-informed improvements.I’m motivated by continuous learning and the opportunity to make systems simpler, smarter, and more user-friendly for the people who rely on them every day. While ensuring the solutions I deliver drive efficiency, reduce costs, and contribute meaningfully to the business\'s bottom line.
