ABOUT RUTH PRINCIPE

As an Affordable Housing Specialist I specialize in assisting First Time Buyers (anyone who has not owned a property in the most recent 3 years) with financing their new home utilizing area Down Payment Assistance programs. The dream of homeownership sometimes feels out of reach and assisting buyers in realizing that dream has become my passion over the past 13 of my more than 25 years in this industry! Building strong relationships with area non profits and Realtors who also assist first time buyers has created a team of professionals ready to assist buyers from start to finish. My certification through Neighborworks America allows me to participate as an approved facilitator for the required 8 hour Homebuyer Education Class that is required by most Down Payment Assistance programs to ensure that buyers are educated about the process and requirements of homeownership. My area partners in the non profit housing arena are an invaluable asset when it comes to assisting First Time Buyers and I rely on them to assist with the steps to homeownership.
