As HR Business Partner for the Americas region, I am responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated operating companies. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organizationJob Duties Include but not limited to:• Provide advice, support, information and guidance to employees and managers on HR and employee relations issues, ensuring HR policies and management practices comply with regulatory requirements and mitigate legal exposure. • Proactively manage the attraction, acquisition, development and retention of all employees• Work with the operating company’s MD’s and line managers to develop and execute people plans and programmes to meet Segment needs.• Act as the local interface between Regional HR Leads and the business, assisting with the development and implementation of employee recruitment, development, reward and retention programs. • Execute HR process improvement initiatives arising from the new centralized People programmes to ensure they will fit and add value to the OpCo “customer-focused” approach to HR delivery to the business.• Work with the MD’s and Regional Leads to co-ordinate the salary planning process, including use of market data research and analysis, providing recommendations for merit increases and bonuses based on regional budgets or specific contract requirements.• Empower, coach and enable Managers to take full responsibility for the leadership and management of their teams.• Act as a support function for local HR Advisors on all day to day and project based HR activities.• Quickly respond to requests for help from employees, managers or leaders, coaching where possible such that repeat requests are avoided
