ABOUT RUTH GAUNT
Are you feeling overwhelmed when it comes to your website? I’m here for you! I’m Ruth, a Squarespace web designer who works with new business owners and solopreneurs to create websites that are both stylish and easy to manage. I know how frustrating it is to know what you want to do, but not know how. So, working together I will guide you through the web design process, giving you all the knowledge and confidence needed to take the reins post launch. Outsourcing your website maintenance in the future will be a choice, not a necessity. When I first to decided to set up as a solo business I felt overwhelmed and lost. I’d always worked as part of a team, and suddenly it was just me - accountant, social media manager, marketing executive, PA (to myself), mum, wife… oh, and Squarespace web designer! I knew early on that I wanted to work with people in the same position - those that have taken the leap to follow their dreams, are in the early days of business and need some support. Web design is something that I enjoy and take a lot of pleasure (and pride) in - Squarespace really is my happy place. But I also know not everyone feels the same way, and that’s absolutely fine! I don’t enjoy accounting, but know many that do - that’s the beauty of outsourcing when it comes to business! Working with small and solo businesses to create a website that makes them excited for the potential and opportunity of their business, and a place that they’re proud to direct clients and customers to…for me, there’s nothing better! With every project I aim to support you through the web design process, educate you on how your website works behind the scenes and leave you feeling empowered when it comes to managing your website in the future. I truly believe outsourcing should be a choice, not a necessity and everyone should have the opportunity to understand every area of their business, including their website if they choose to.
