ABOUT RUTH DAMPHOUSE

Working in the higher education arena has given me a different view of risk evaluation and insurance needs. I aim to continue refining and developing risk management techniques within our community. Continuing to educate our community on the importance of risk and insurance is forefront in my personal goals. My previous experience in independent and company adjustment of all lines of property and casualty insurance claims has helped me develop the skills for my current career. I believe the education I have acquired, along with the experience I gain leads to efficient and cost-effective completion of the tasks required. I support the guiding principles of insurance along with the mission statements of the companies I work for. The insured person/entity is the key to the success of the completion of a claim. Keeping the information current and providing the status of progress will result in the insured being well-informed throughout the claim process. Licensing was obtained in Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan and Alberta for my role as an independent adjuster.
