About Ruta Gokhale
I design the systems behind customer experiences — the tools and workflows that decide whether things feel effortless… or mildly chaotic.Most of my work lives in enterprise and SaaS products, where complexity isn’t a bug - it’s the job. I spend a lot of time untangling processes, edge cases, and competing priorities so teams can make decisions with clarity instead of guesswork.I’m especially interested in what sits beneath the surface — the relationships between data, workflows, and people, and how that structure shapes what users actually experience. That’s where good design becomes something reliable, not just usable.Right now I’m at Intuit, designing tools that support customer success for mid-market customers. A lot of my time goes into how data flows, how hand-offs work, and whether the experience actually makes customers feel welcome inside a large ecosystem.Before this, I’ve worked across a range of B2B and SaaS products, from internal tools to customer-facing platforms, which has given me a healthy respect for how messy real software can be.My path into design ran through HCI and computer science, so I tend to care just as much about how things are put together as how they look on the surface.I’m always curious about how systems shape behavior — in products, teams, and companies.
