ABOUT RUSTY J. BLANTON

summary 15+ years experience: Versatile and results-driven manager with expertise in Forced Outage Management, Engineering Management, Electrical Design Engineering, Project Management, and Field Engineering. I hold a BS in Electrical Engineering Technology (ABET-accredited) with a focus on Control Instrumentation & Design. My career began with Fluor in the O&G sector, leading to roles in Power delivery development and design after completing company-directed design school in 2006.During the 2008 economic downturn, I was the last man standing to finalize the Russian project’s Electrical, Instrumentation, Piping, & Mechanical Standard project Design Details for construction. My field construction experience obtained from CB & I projects in Columbia (Reficar Project) and Texas (Freeport LNG project). During these projects I excelled in event priority project identifications and budgeting impacts, in which I am sure I was utilizing advanced mathematics skills from classes at ITT and UHD. On both of these projects my project management assigned me Field Engineers for me to train in my work ethics and how I identify and execute works based on my perspective.I have lead forced commissioning outages, operations outages, Executive directed outages all of which required to apply Change of Management supporting documentation and new SOPs.I hold a proven record of completing assignments, meaning I do not stop until the job is done.
