Rustam Gagrat is the Senior Partner of Gagrats, Mumbai and Gagrat & Co, New Delhi. Mr.Gagrat’s Practice Areas cover Corporate (M&A), Banking & Finance, Energy & Infrastructure, Aviation, Private Equity & Dispute Resolution. Mr.Gagrat is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England & an Advocate of the Supreme Court of India. He obtained a BA(First Class Hons) in Politics from Elphinstone College, Bombay, a BA(Hons) in Law & MA from Downing College, Cambridge University & has also done the PIL at The Harvard Law School. Mr. Gagrat has represented leading corporates, airlines and banks on pathbreaking crossborder financings, M&A deals, Stake Sales, PE deals, Infrastructure Projects and Securities Offering (in India & overseas). Several of these have received awards & recognition including from Euromoney, India Business Law Journal, Acquisition International and Air Finance. He has presented papers at Domestic & International law conferences.
