As a desk receptionist, I strive to ensure that each individual that enters the building I work at is a resident of the building. If not, I use a digital check-in process to keep track of who enters and exits the building for safety reasons. Additionally, working at a Freshman dorm means that I am also a resource for information on how to navigate the many pieces of the UNCW freshman experience. I strive to always have a smile on my face, and keep residents safe and sound!

ABOUT RUSSIA NARANJO
Hey there! My name is Russia Naranjo and I\'m a student leader at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. I\'m a Pre-Law student pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Public Policy and Administration, double minoring in Campaign Management, as well as Political Entrepreneurship and Leadership. I pride myself in my deep passions for advocacy, justice, digital media marketing/content creation, and innovation! I speak fluent English and Spanish, and I\'m moderate in both French and Portuguese. I served as UNC Wilmington\'s Freshman Class President for the Student Government Association last calendar year, and it was the experience of a lifetime. I got to represent over 2,700 students, while acting on student needs, wants, and concerns. Ameliorating the Freshman student experience through advocacy and collaborative leadership through this role was unforgettable and I learned so much about how to efficiently provide innovation for this wonderful institution. While on the topic of advocacy, I am a current Legal Intern. This experience will help me build the crucial experience I need for my future Law career. I am a benevolent, empathetic, driven, passionate, diligent, open-minded, & hard-working individual. The idea of representing and advocating for people in the legal field and in our nation\'s current political climate are exactly what I\'ll be doing with my future, and I\'m open to any other sort of in-field experience!I am always working to strengthen and elevate my leadership and advocacy skills!
