About Russell McDougal
I am a commercial photographer in Boulder, Colorado. I specialize in product and studio photography, but really enjoy architectural & other location work too. I have had a successful studio for about 30 years here. Besides shooting people, products, & places, I also am a fine art photographer. I also publish inspirational books, boxed card decks, and 3 different iPhone apps. I enjoy working with art directors, designers, corporate clients, & individuals to create high quality visual solutions for their photographic needs. I am often called on to work with clients or business owners to conceive the best way to present their products or services.I also am a poet and copywriter and enjoy creating company tagline or identities. My specialty is an acronym phrase of a business name, feature or tie-in. An example: B.A.L.L. – Building Aerospace – Lifting Life. I also create these word-poems for my own artistic expression, like: H.E.R.O. – Happy Ending Really Occur, or H.O.M.E. – Heal Our Mother Earth.Specialties: Studio photography, location photography, photo retouching, custom archival prints, custom tag-lines or identities.
