ABOUT GARETH RUSSELL

I am a Global IT Leader with over 20 years’ experience. I build global teams that are strong and collaborative that deliver transformational projects. Directly accountable for $15-20m per year budgets (Opex & Capex). Experienced with a number of partners for AMS & Project work including, IBM, Cognizant, Wipro, Huron. Organisational responsibility of up to 80 people including partner / project contact resources.My focus is about improving business outcomes that can be supported by technology change or improvement. I have strong leadership and results driven determination that has been proven through many large, multi millions dollar, Salesforce, SAP, Smart Factory and E-Commerce projects. This have been across Commercial Excellence, Finance, HR, Logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, Property Management, Customer Services, Field Service, Project and Programme Delivery and Retail. Significant experience with M&A and Divestitures.I have a great ability to understand complex scenarios and quickly translate them into easy to understand concepts. This is often on a global basis whilst considering local regulations and culture. I use different methods of communication to use the most appropriate for the situation and am equally happy presenting to a large audience or discussing complex issues individual with senior business leaders.I have a proven track record of delivery without compromise to cost, quality or time. I achieve this by creating a collaborative approach between IT and the business. The project teams I am responsible for are always clear on their roles, responsibilities and deliverables. This along with my very open personality means any issues can be discussed early to ensure they are resolved swiftly.I have managed and mentored colleagues both junior and senior and helped them gain more confidence in their work whilst increasing their skills, to enable them to grow in the role and into more senior positions.
