As the Head of IT Operations at Rencore, I have taken on a senior leadership role and created a new department responsible for security, internal IT, cloud infrastructure, and QA. •Provided strategic direction for my areas of responsibility, aligning them with the company\'s vision and goals, resulting in optimized departmental and organizational outcomes. •Built and managed a new team from the ground up, providing clear priorities for the department and individuals, and active mentorship, resulting in a well-functioning and flourishing team. • Managed the QA sub-department, which included the QA Lead and a team of eleven sub-team members, comprising manual and automated testers. •Implemented new processes to establish a foundation for future growth, ensuring maximum efficiency and effectiveness, and laying the groundwork for the organization\'s continued success. •Developed new initiatives, such as the department principles document, which were adopted across the company to ensure consistency and alignment with organizational goals. •Optimized cloud architecture, resulting in efficiency, cost savings, and better performance, and a more secure infrastructure. •Led the successful implementation of Rencore achieving SOC2 status, and collaborated with the Head of Compliance and Legal to design, implement, and roll out new processes across the organization. •Collaborated with other departments such as Finance to establish better reporting procedures and products to provide better cross-department collaboration for better outcomes. •Initiated a cross-departmental initiative with other senior leaders to provide learning opportunities in soft management skills, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
