I have experience handling all manner of legal issues arising in the nonprofit world. I handle corporate issues, government relations issues, all forms of dispute resolution, ethical issues, compliance with applicable tax laws and laws pertaining to grants, and other similar matters that are unique to charitable, mission-driven entities.In addition, I represent businesses and individuals in all different kinds of disputes. I have worked on a lot of different types of cases, but the bulk of my experience is in litigation, bankruptcies (Ch. 7, 11, and 13), pre-bankruptcy loan workouts, and appearances before state regulatory bodies such as the Certificate of Need Review Board. I also help companies comply with applicable laws and regulations.
