Working on the process design team for the W.R. Grace Lake Charles plant has given me the opportunity to work on a wide range of capital projects across multiple business functions. I was tasked with evaluating the site\'s project commissioning strategy and reorganizing the process for seven different engineering disciplines. Through this commissioning project, I created seven different work procedures and a comprehensive chart laying out the responsibilities and timeline for every department involved in a capital project.As a process design engineer, I worked on a wide range of projects from replacing four-story tall cyclones to installing mass meters to optimize production rate. I excelled at cross department collaboration and was able to work on over $10M worth of capital projects in my first year in the role.
